Powdered Laundry Soap

There a many, many recipes for homemade laundry soap. Powdered soap is the easiest because it doesn't require heating.

Finely grate a bar of Fels Naptha soap. Measure 2 cups of the grated soap for this recipe. Then, add that to 1 cup of sodium carbonate, also known as washing soda or soda ash. Lastly, add 1 cup of Borax. Mix all of this together and store it in a sealed container. Two tablespoons per laundry load will clean the clothes.
